Reopened on 5th February 2007, the transformation of The Bowes Incline Hotel is now complete.

The Hotel maintains the 15 en-suite rooms and warm, friendly welcome which have made it extremely popular with visitors to the region.

After a hard day at work, sightseeing or even shopping, we appreciate how important it is for you to be able to relax and feel comfortable in your bedroom.

What’s more, when you are ready to leave the next morning, we want you to feel refreshed and ready for the day ahead.

This thought was upper most in our minds during the modernisation of our rooms. All of the furnishings have been carefully chosen for comfort and every room now has en-suite bathrooms and showers as well as a hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and a colour television.

The single storey layout of the property makes it particularly accessible to those with walking difficulties and one of the rooms is especially designed for wheelchair users.
