Situated within half an hour of the Alnwick Garden, the Scottish Borders, and the historic castles and famous coastline of Northumberland, you can even enjoy our rural roads which are almost empty; for once travelling by car need not be a chore!

As befits an old building, the fact that no two rooms are the same adds to the charm of the hotel and whilst standards are superb throughout, the lack of a corporate feel is for many a real pleasure.
