As you meander down the drive, past the meadows and through the oak trees, you will arrive at one of Yorkshire ’s grandest country houses. Built and owned by the Dugdale family until 1977 this is a house that has played host to lords, queens and diplomats over the years including HM The Queen Mother, Sir Winston Churchill and Macmillan.
